What drives the price of CDL school
Most of what you pay for is seat time in a truck, an instructor next to you, and testing. Schools that quote a low number often leave out the DOT physical, permit fees, retests or fuel surcharges. We list deposits and test attempts on every package so you can compare honestly.
Because we are a third-party tester, you test on the same equipment you trained on. That removes the wait for a DMV appointment and the cost of renting a truck for the exam.

How much does CDL school cost in Las Vegas?
At OTR Drive School, CDL Class B starts at $3,500, the Class A Fast Track package is $4,500, and the all-inclusive Class A Pro package is $6,250. All programs include job placement assistance.
Is a deposit required to start?
Yes. Deposits range from $1,500 for Class B to $2,500 for the Pro package, with the balance handled before testing.
Are testing fees included?
The Pro package covers permit and testing fees and the DOT physical. Fast Track and Class B include a set number of test attempts, and we will tell you up front what is covered.
Can my employer pay for training?
Many carriers reimburse tuition after you are hired, and some Nevada workforce programs help cover training. Our team will walk you through the options that apply to you.
